Tape the edges of your socket, windows, celling or door frame with painter’s tape before starting to paint.

Dip the brush about a third into the paint, then tap it against the sides and avoid scraping the paint from the brush.

Hold the brush like a pencil and paint with smooth strokes, feathering out all the area.

In case you accidentally painted the edges of the socket or door frame, use a piece of wet wipes to wipe it off immediately.

Use an extension pole for your roller depending on the height of the wall and ensure to stir the paint thorougly to have even colours outcome.

Damp your paint roller with few spray of water throughout the roller. Ensure you don’t submerge the paint roller entirely into water. Making the roller slightly damp is to soak up as much paint as possible.

If you are using 18L paint can, ensure you shake off the paint after submerging the paint roller into the paint to remove excess paint. If you are using painting tray, ensure you roll it backward and forwards on the ramp of the tray to evenly distribute the paint on the roller cover.

Start painting from the edge of the top to bottom using same pressure while moving from left to right or right to left. Go slow to avoid paint splatter.

Do not press or squeeze the roller to get more paint. Just reload with paint to avoid brush marks or uneven wall.

Notes :

Types of roller refill used will influence the outcome of the painted wall.

Identify the space you are painting and choose the correct paint products. Suggest using durable water-based paint that can withstand extreme weathers. If you are having problem walls, you might need a different paint solutions.

Choose your preferred colours depending on the spaces you are painting.

Get your painting tools ready, which includes roller for walls, paint brush for edges, extension pole for high areas, painting tray to remove excess paint on roller/brush, painter’s tape to cover corner area and covering sheet for floors.

Ensure you know the recoating interval time and drying time for a long-lasting painting. Start painting!

Remove the door knob and any other locks on the door that not required to be painted. Alternatively, use a painter’s tape to cover the door knob before painting.

Choose the right brush or roller for your door before painting.

Sand the door thorougly before applying MICI Undercoat (1 coat) to cover previous door colour.

Start by painting the edges of the door. Leave MICI Undercoat to dry up for 4 to 5 hours

Then, use MICI High Gloss as top coat. Leave it to dry up for 4 to 5 hours before painting subsequent coat. Paint as many layers you need to achieve the colour that you wanted for your door.

Identify the space you are painting and choose the correct paint products. Suggest using water-based paint for a low-odour indoor painting experience for normal walls. If you are having problem walls, you might need a different paint solutions.

Choose your preferred colours depending on the spaces you are painting. Spruce up your space by choosing 1 feature walls to go with a bolder/darker colours or special effect paint. However, if your space is small, try to go with just light colours to make it look more spacious.

Use scaper to remove excess paint from paint roller.

Then, run through the roller under high pressure water and ensure the roller spin as fast as possible for the next 4 minutes.

Remove the roller refill from the roller and have a last rinse.

Now, let the roller refill dry up by removing the excess water using towel or by rolling on the floor.

Ensure the roller refill is half dried before mixing with other colours to avoid change of colour when painting.

Notes

The chances to reuse roller refill vary depending on the quality of roller.
